Claire Vogel: Glimpse at a week…

“Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.”—Ralph Lauren

The thing about Claire is that her style is unassuming.  It works because she allows herself to explore. It’s this unguarded quality of owning who she is without apologies.  She’s like an enigma, constantly changing her style to match whatever mood she’s in that day. In her own words:

“My style is mostly something i use to transform myself on a daily basis.  I tend to tire easily of routines and feel my tendency to be all over the map stylistically is rooted in that desire to change things up.  I’m often asked where i find my clothes and the truth is that i don’t shop at any particular place.  One of my favorite things about my wardrobe is the process of finding pieces of clothing that piece together and this can literally be from anywhere.  I’m often inspired by films the characters in them.  I gravitate highly to style from the 40s-60s, and especially admire menswear.  I love finding a feminine way to re-create menswear styles from various eras.”
