In honor of Oscar weekend, it seems fitting that we feature a friend’s sanctuary that is reminiscent of THE GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD.
The glam of that special era is alive and well at Morgan Lawley‘s renovated Craftsman in Eagle Rock, CA. It feels like there should be a red carpet leading into the grand living room adorned with its gold ceiling. The house oozes with a personality that is matched by Morgan’s enthusiasm for everything she approaches. She is no stranger to the theatrical. She’s a former dancer & choreographer turned Director (represented by Synthetic Pictures in Hollywood, CA.)Morgan’s flare for design is realized through unique flea market finds, eBay grabs or the odd, advantageous trip to Chinatown (i.e. the light hanging in her entryway). Her bedroom’s blue-tinged silk wallpaper with chandeliers draping either side may be the most indicative of days gone past, making even Norma Desmond feel at home in Eagle Rock!
